Brenton Cheng is a movement artist and technologist, based in the San Francisco Bay Area. He teaches improvisation for performance, contact improvisation, and movement re-patterning to both professional and non-professional movers in classes and workshops around the world. He is on faculty at University of San Francisco and the Integrated Movement Studies Laban/Bartenieff certification program. He also works at the non-profit Internet Archive, striving for universal access to all knowledge.
He created “Moving Space: The Laban Scales“, an interactive 3D compendium of the Laban Scales for iPhone and iPad.
